Hours Of Operation
I am open from 7am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.  Earlier or later hours may be negotiated.

PreK Program
I provide a preschool program that focuses on theme/topics, letter, number, shape, color, story-time, music, arts & crafts, science, cooking in the kitchen, walking field trips, and outside play. We also acknowledge special days such as holidays, national observances, and birthdays.

A child who is 4 years old by September also has the opportunity to participate in a New Richmond School District PreK program (free of charge.)  There are a couple programs in town that will provide transportation to/from my childcare home.

Schedule
The schedule below is a general guideline, and covers a large range of fun and educational activities. the times are estimates, and the schedule is flexible to acco modate babies' schedules, child arrival times, interests of the children, etc.

7:00     First child arrives / free play and tv time until breakfast
7:45     Breakfast
8:30     Preschool Program ~ arts/crafts, story time, walks to park or library, morning snack, outside play, music time, sensory/manipulatives
12:15   Lunch
12:45   Nap / Rest time
2:45     Wake sleeping children
              Afternoon snack
3:15     Free play, outside play, center activities / parents start arriving
5:00     Daycare closes

Rates
My current weekly full-time rate is $130; this may be higher if you need a care outside of the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. Part-time care is provided on a case-by-case basis.

I accept children on the Wisconsin Shares Program (daycare assistance) however, payment is due from the parents per my contract, and when the County pays me I return it to the parents. Note: the county rarely pays the full amount of tuition, so the reimbursed amount would typically be less than what was paid. I do it this way because of a history of lost income due to a variety of reasons.

Food Program
Carla's Child Care participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACF) and serves meals and snacks according to state guidelines.
