We have a beautiful 100 year old home with a large yard for the children to play.  I have a family-style daycare, which means the children have access to almost my entire home.  We 'live' in each room like a family.  We prepare our meals in the kitchen, eat together at the table, relax in the living room, nap in the bedrooms, and play in the toy room.  The older kids will use the dining room table for puzzles, board games, small legos ... anything with smaller pieces that the youngest children don't have access to.  The kids play with my child-friendly pets, Max & Milo the cats, and Murphy the dog, we dance in the living room, relax on the couches to read books ... it's their Home Away From Home!
